The more adventurous can go tubing down the river! There is also a public beach at Clearwater Point that offers picnic areas, shade trees, grills, and restrooms.
For the adventurers, Clearwater Point has many hiking trails that wind through 674 acres of protected lands. There are also biking paths to explore (bike rentals available for a small fee). The path around the point is perfect for both bikes or strollers because it is not too hilly or bumpy. At this point, visitors can also go rock climbing or try paddle boarding.
If you love shopping, Clearwater Point has that covered too! The town center of Clearwater Point is home to a wide variety of shops and restaurants. In the summertime, there are free concerts every Friday night in the plaza outside the library.
Clearwater Point is located next to the Florida National Scenic Trail, which spans 1000 miles throughout the state. The trail provides opportunities for hiking, biking, backpacking, and horseback riding for people of all abilities. It is the perfect place to visit with your entire family!
